Collection: DEPARTURE - PRE-ORDER

After two days writing in the recording studio in July, we have written a collection of songs for our next album.

It was a very different way of writing for us and has created a different style of song for our previous album.

There's a lot of energy in this collection and because we don't want to lose that, we will be recording all the songs live in the studio.

To explain, pretty much ALL music is recorded in layers nowadays. Only one musician records at any one time. before the late 70's, music was recorded by the whole band playing live together. It's harder to achieve perfection that way, and it's not possible to do any edits to a song post recording, but the energy you get from everyone playing together is AMAZING!

With this album, Tony, Ed and I will record our main parts together, live and then other instruments will be added after (i.e. bass, percussion, backing vocals etc.).

The Limited Edition CD we are offering will be a double CD, which will include the main album on CD1 with the full production, and the original live recordings, before anything extra is added, on CD2.

We will also be filming the entire live recordings and will be offering this as DVD.

This album officially features Ed Rome. We know he's been on all our albums since Out Of The Blue, but he's been part of this album from conception.

Unlike previous Pre-Order campaigns, this is not a crowdfunding exercise. There's no target to hit. We're recording this album regardless of how many / few people pre-order it, so feel don't feel obliged. We know it's pretty tough out there for a lot of people, so PLEASE only do what you're comfortable to.

We're hoping to record the live part of the album during September with an October release, but everyone who pre-orders will not only get something that won;t be available after, they will get the album one month before general release.
